Donald Trump 'incorrect' over Time person of the year claims, says magazine

collected by :Tod Hinery

Donald Trump was "incorrect", Time magazine said, when he claimed on Saturday to have taken a "pass" on an interview and "major photo shoot" because the publication told him he was only "probably" going to be named its person of the year. "Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named "Man (Person) of the Year," like last year," Trump wrote, a little before 6pm ET, from Florida where he is spending the Thanksgiving break at his Mar-a-Lago club. Thanks anyway!"In the fashion of the times, just before 8.30pm ET, Time tweeted back: "The president is incorrect about how we choose Person of the Year. The magazine did name Trump its person of the year in 2016. John F Kennedy was person of the year in 1961, Jimmy Carter in 1976 and George HW Bush in 1990.

CNN's Twitter account argued with Donald Trump to promote its new ad campaign

Yesterday, though, one of Trump's tweets apparently irked CNN so much that it felt the need to respond to him with a little dig and a nod to its new ad campaign. (For anybody who is new to the world in 2017, yes, this is all totally normal now.) Here's what happened: Trump tweeted what was basically an ad for Fox News, saying that it is "MUCH more important in the United States than CNN" even though CNN is bigger internationally. Since Fox News is essentially pro-Trump propaganda and CNN isn't, he believes that CNN doesn't "represent" the country very well. CNN responded for whatever reason, saying that it's not the news organization's job to represent the U.S. to the world.

Ivana Trump: Donald Trump 'missing a little bit of his old life'

President Trump's first wife Ivana Trump said she believed the president is missing his life prior to entering the White House, when asked whether she thinks he will run for reelection. "I think he's missing a little bit of his old life," Ivana Trump said in an interview on The Ray D'Arcy Show on Saturday. "Now ... from 8 o'clock in the morning to midnight, he's working, working, working and everybody shoves at him the problem of the country," she said. When asked if the president told her he missed his old life, Ivana Trump answered, "I think so, yeah." The first lady's office issued a scathing statement, calling Ivana Trump's comments "self-serving noise."

Donald Trump Doesn't Like This Any More Than You Do

Donald Trump likes going to rallies. But unfortunately for Donald Trump and everyone else in the world save Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump is about to be the president. And as miserable as it is for us, there is one small, saving grace amidst the despair: Donald Trump looks like he wants to die. Donald Trump is positively miserable. Donald Trump Now Claims That His Access Hollywood Tape Isn't "Authentic"

collected by :Tod Hinery

"He suggested to a senator earlier this year that it was not authentic, and repeated that claim to an adviser more recently," the Times noted in its report on Trump's endorsement of Moore, who has been urged to leave the race by other prominent Republicans like Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. "(In the hours after it was revealed in October 2016, Mr. Trump acknowledged that the voice was his, and he apologized.)"

Roy Moore Is Deplorable, and Donald Trump Condoning His Sins Is Unforgivable

The judge's behavior is unforgivable, no matter what your ideological leanings and party identification may be. That hasn't stopped President Trump and Steve Bannon from continuing to back Roy Moore. Suddenly, nay, miraculously, Trump and his minions have no opinion on what should be done about Roy Moore. The usual cast of characters has been in evidence, digging for dirt, not on Moore, but on his victims. As for the Moore supporters in Alabama, by God, you may get your wish.

How Donald Trump is really changing things

as mentioned in By Dan Balz, (c) 2017, The Washington PostIt has been a long and unproductive year for President Donald Trump. What former President Barack Obama started in many of these areas, Trump has started to reverse. In the arena of executive action, he is pursuing a model established by his recent past predecessors, with worrisome consequences to constitutional governance. In the area of executive action, however, he has pursued goals consistent with his campaign rhetoric — and like Obama, priorities designed to appeal directly to his own political coalition. But no one should lose sight of the unilateral action at the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue that has been every bit as defining in the record of Trump's presidency.

Melania Trump feud with Ivana continues after Donald Trump's first wife speaks out AGAIN

Melania Trump, 47, was forced to issue a statement in October after Donald Trump's first wife Ivana, 68, called herself the 'real First Lady'. Ivana caused a stir when she told Fox News that she deserves the title of First Lady, and that she avoids calling her ex Donald, 71, at the White House so as not to make Melania jealous. I'm first lady."Melania, a former-model from Slovenia, fired back with a statement from her office that said: "Mrs. Trump has made the White House a home for Barron and the President. She loves living in Washington, DC, and is honoured by her role as first lady of the United States.

Don't Blame Donald Trump for Eclipsing the State Department

President Donald Trump may be dismantling the State Department. Months before Barbara Stephenson's organization worried about Trump dismantling the State Department, it worried about State becoming increasingly irrelevant inside a militarized foreign policy. Unlikely at the advice of his State Department, Bush also found time to refer to North Korea's then-leader Kim Jong-il as a pygmy. It is clear that President Trump thinks little of his State Department. Opinions expressed here are his own and not those of the State Department.

Democrats pursue Donald Trump prostitute story

A former New York City detective, Mr. Schiller accompanied Mr. Trump to Moscow, where he traveled to plan his Miss Universe pageant. Mr. Schiller said some people, who were not identified, offered five prostitutes but Mr. Schiller declined. Mr. Trump apparently first heard about the Ritz-Carlton story from Mr. Comey on Jan. 6. Once in office, Mr. Trump telephoned Mr. Comey to reiterate that the Ritz-Carlton story was false. Mr. Comey, who would be fired by Mr. Trump months later, told the president that he was not under investigation.

referring to Posted on Saturday, November 25, 2017 by RODNEY HO/rho@ajc.com on his AJC Radio & TV Talk blogPresident Donald Trump on Thanksgiving Day weekend took a break from golf to go after Atlanta-based CNN International instead of his usual target CNN. Our job is to report the news. @FoxNews is MUCH more important in the United States than CNN, but outside of the U.S., CNN International is still a major source of (Fake) news, and they represent our Nation to the WORLD very poorly. The outside world does not see the truth from them! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 25, 2017

Donald Trump's list of illustrious golf partners just keeps getting bigger. Donald Trump Claims 2005 'Access Hollywood' Tape Is Fake

Donald Trump is reportedly claiming that the man bragging about groping women in the infamous 2005 Access Hollywood tape was not him — despite the fact that he already apologized for it. The controversial tape, which surfaced weeks before the November 2016 presidential election, provided audio of the former Apprentice host bragging to former Access Hollywood host Billy Bush about sexually assaulting women. I'll admit it," Trump can be heard saying in a conversation about Bush's then-cohost Nancy O'Dell that was caught on a hot mic. I apologize if anyone was offended."The video sparked a "Grab 'Em By The P–sy" movement, where women fired back at Trump's vulgar remarks.
