The Trump national security team is planning deeper engagement with more US troops battling Islamic extremists in the Middle East, and will need a commensurate boost in funding. US social spending already dominates the budgetary picture and America vastly outspends other large countries on defense. By exempting Medicare and Social Security from cuts, Trump is ignoring the biggest drivers of US spending. Trump will stride down the center aisle to lusty cheers and hearty handshakes from his Republican supporters.




They know that the death of a brown man is more important than a store not carrying your daughter's shoes. And not one word from Donald Trump. I'm sure they've never had someone shout at them, "Go back to your country, Osama!" because they are brown. You will never know the fear and pain millions of your fellow Americans are going through because of your hate-filled rhetoric. Your silence says it all, and it's disgusting.
