"CNN" : When did Donald Trump last attack someone on Twitter?

President Donald Trump won praise from pundits and political allies for his more measured tones during Tuesday night's address to a joint session of Congress. At one point in the speech, he even declared that "the time for trivial matters has passed." But Trump's pivot to mellower rhetoric is actually a few days old. We'll see how long it lasts -- literally. He hasn't knocked, tweaked or attacked anyone on Twitter since Sunday afternoon, when he claimed , "Russia talk is FAKE NEWS put out by the Dems, and played up by the media, in order to mask the big election defeat and the illegal leaks!"

Donald Trump Goes All In for the Military-Industrial Complex
Donald Trump used his first Joint Address to the Congress of the United States to engage in an unprecedented flight of fiscal fantasy. Specifically, the president imagined that the United States could cut taxes for wealthy Americans and corporations, rip tens of billions of dollars out of domestic programs (and diplomacy), hand that money over to the military-industrial complex, and somehow remain a functional and genuinely strong nation. His hour-long speech was far more traditional and temperate in character than his ballistic inaugural address. It has been a conservative mantra since the Grand Old Party purged itself of the "Modern Republicans" who clung to the vision of former President Dwight Eisenhower and made theirs a party of reaction rather than reason. Ad PolicyTrump did not articulate this agenda quite so bluntly.

There have been many debates regarding the reasons behind the limited number of women serving in Congress. (Associated Press) 2017 marks the 100th anniversary of women serving in Congress. In 1953 there were 12 women serving in Congress. Jeannette Rankin was sworn in on April 2, 1917 , three years before women could even vote. Since then 324 women have served in either the House or Senate.
