"indy100" : Donald Trump just quietly signed away more women's rights

US states are now allowed to withhold federal money from organisations that provide abortion services, thanks to Donald Trump. Trump signed a bill which reverses a regulation put in place by Barack Obama to ban states from withholding funds going to abortion services. This will affect Planned Parenthood, which says only three per cent of its services are abortions. https://t.co/vml5MSydMW — Rep. After months of criticism, US president says the global military alliance is no longer 'obsolete'. But after a meeting with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, Trump struck an entirely different tone. President Donald Trump has not been in the White House for 100 days, but he has already done an apparent U-turn on a number of his key campaign promises. He now says the organisation is "a bulwark of international peace and security".

But the Donald Trump I saw on TV Thursday night (see below)seemed oddly hesitant as he employed the language of the internationalists. Donald Trump spent the 2016 campaign railing against the regime-change goals of his predecessors, Republican George W. Bush and Democrat Barack Obama. That was the nationalist Donald Trump I was familiar with, confident and brash. "Donald Trump was elected based on these issues," he said. "On at least 45 different occasions he talked about how stupid it was to have regime change," said Doherty.
